The first generation moved from Kyoto to Ishioka and set up a sake brewery in 1462 (3rd year), and is the second oldest in Japan. Since then, it has been protecting the tradition of the sake "Fujizumi" with the region for over 550 years. In the Edo period, Mitsukuni Mito visited the area and was praised for the activities of Fujita Sake Brewery.
