Elaborado en una destilería de Nagasaki fundada en 1839, este honjozo está pulido al 70 % y se elabora con levadura de Kumamoto para lograr un sabor directo y satisfactorio diseñado para maridar ampliamente con la comida. La fermentación lenta a baja temperatura le confiere un carácter suave que funciona desde frío hasta caliente.
