Otokoyama ist ein lokaler sake, der mit dem berühmten Wasser von Asahikawa in Hokkaido gebraut wird. Im Jahr 1977 gewann er als erster sake weltweit die Monde Selection Goldmedaille. Seitdem wurde er 40 Jahre lang ausgezeichnet und hat bei nationalen und internationalen Spirituosenwettbewerben sowie bei der nationalen Neuem-Sake-Appraisal zahlreiche Goldmedaillen erhalten.
