Der Gründer war als Samurai am Kontrollposten des Kaga-Domäne tätig und gründete die Brauerei am Flussufer im 3. Jahr von Kanei (1626), vor etwa 400 Jahren. Die Hayashi Sake Brewery liegt am westlichen Eingang von Oyashirazu, dem als Startpunkt der Nordalpen geltenden Ort; die Nordalpen sind unmittelbar vom Hintereingang erreichbar, und das Japanische Meer mit frischem Wasser liegt vor der Brauerei, in einer gesegneten Umgebung. 'Ich möchte guten Sake noch köstlicher machen, damit jede Person ihn geniesst.'
