History
1941
Founded as Kyodo Shusei Co. taking over a distillery from Royama Shuzo, at the request of Gunma sake makers to address wartime alcohol shortages; predecessor of the former Mihoshurui Co.
1948
Renamed to Mihoshurui Co., Ltd.
1955
Upgraded distillation equipment to the 'Super Arospas' system.
1959
Built a second factory.
1962
Merged with Asahi Shurui Kogyo Co. and established a Niigata factory.
1970
Entered the sake brewing business.
1985
Acquired Shotoku Meijo Co., Ltd.
2007
The present-day Mihoshurui Co., Ltd. was established through a corporate split.
