History
1919
Founded when Tatsuji Kawachi purchased the brewing license from a Mr. Takahashi in Tsushima and began selling the sake "Hakugaku".
1933
Upon incorporation, Matsutaro Ito became the company's first representative partner.
1984
Began selling the honkaku shochu "Tsushima Yamaneko."
2021-2023
"Hakugaku Daiginjo" won the gold award at the National New Sake Awards for three consecutive years.
2023
Renamed from Kawachi Shuzo Gomei Kaisha to Shiratake Shuzo Co., Ltd.
2024
Won the gold award in the ginjo category at the 2024 Fukuoka Regional Taxation Bureau Sake Competition.
