Cotra

Opened in 2022 in Gowanus by three friends with a decade of combined restaurant experience, Cotra is a sharing-plates izakaya built around premium seafood, American Wagyu, and ingredients sourced from Japan and beyond. Its bar carries an extensive sake, Japanese whisky, and cocktail list chosen to complement the food, and it shares lineage with the Bed-Stuy izakaya Trad Room.
