La marca representativa, Yoshinori Sakura (Ohoretsu), toma su nombre de Mitsumasa Ikeda, tercer señor del clan Okayama, quien dio el nombre de 'Yoshitsu' a los cerezos en el momento de su muerte. El toji, dotado de una tecnología de primer nivel, elabora el sake con las aguas subterráneas del río Kanan, ricas en minerales, y utilizando arroz de calidad de Okayama.
