Prensado al inicio de la temporada de elaboración invernal en Ogawa-machi, una ciudad conocida por albergar tres cervecerías de sake a distancia a pie, este hatsushibori es un genshu con un contenido alcohólico de alrededor del 21%. La cervecería utiliza agua moderadamente suave de la cuenca de Hiki, lo que otorga al sake una textura suave.
