Fundada en el año 5 de Bunsei. Tamura Sake Brewery, en Fussa, Tokio, elabora su sake a orillas del Tamagawa Josui. El nombre del sake representativo 'Kasen' proviene de la alegría de haber encontrado el mejor agua para elaborar sake en los terrenos de la propia destilería (Yokobori = Kaya, agua = fuente).
