1854
Founded as a sake brewery in Utazu, Kagawa Prefecture (Ansei 1).
1972
Takashi Tokuyama (6th-generation president) became CEO.
1974
Began comprehensive research into rice utilization.
1979
Yushin Shuzo Co., Ltd. was established.
1993
Relocated head office functions to the Ryonan factory.
1997
Launched in-house cosmetics brand RAIZ.
2006
Developed a low-alcohol beverage using local ancient rice from Utazu.
2015
Completed a new head office building to consolidate R&D and administrative functions.
