From the brewery
Morohashi Sake Brewery is located in the eastern part of Nagaoka City, in the Tochio basin sandwiched between Uonuma hills and Echigo Mountains. The place where Kenshin Uesugi spent adolescence. The famous sake "Koshino Keita" was born in the "Keita Nagao" that Kenshin gave his name at the time. The slopes of the mountains are carefully cleared, and it is one of the best terraced terraces in the country. High quality rice is collected from this rice terraces. The water is natural water pumped from the well on the company's site, and the spring water of "Tozo no Mori", which has been selected as one of the 100 famous waters in Japan. These two are made into water, but all are super soft water with a hardness of 0.47. Although it is difficult to ferment it with few impurities and it is like distilled water, it has produced a gentle drink of a drink.
